Hypnotherapy

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is simply an altered state of mind, very similar to the state of relaxation, during which your unconscious mind is better prepared for positive changes.

You may think that Hypnotherapy is taking full control of your mind to make you do unconsidered things: That is absolutely not what we are doing. Where you might have seen in stage-hypnotism people seeming to lose their conscious awareness, in Hypnotherapy you are always totally in control and totally aware of what's going on during the session. Your Hypnotherapist is merely here to guide you and assist you to make the changes that you wish for. Our code of conduct is approved by the British Institute of Hypnotherapy .

When you're under hypnosis you are actually in the same relaxed and focused state as you are in your everyday life when you're driving, watching TV, reading or day dreaming...We are simply helping you to choose what state is the most appropriate for the situations you're thinking of improving.

Will I do everything I'm told during my hypnotherapy session?

As much as you wouldn't necessarily do anything you're told while you're reading a book, you will entirely be able to check if you beleive and agree with what is said before doing it.

What will hypnotherapy help me with?
